It is critical to the integrity of our community model that both fellow Fans and Creators can rely on the genuine commitment of pledges once made. 

Flexibility & ‘Equal or Greater’ Rule

Fans will always have the option to reshuffle their existing pledges for any equal or greater combination of rewards offered, pledges that are reshuffled may end up including funds that remain simply as general, direct contributions to the overall success of the campaign.

How & When to Reshuffle

Fans can reshuffle their existing pledges anytime between when they are made and when a campaign closes.

This feature is located in the user profile section, accessible under ‘my pledge’. 

Fans simply select the ‘DETAILS’ button for a pledge, then select ‘RESHUFFLE’.

Fans can then reshuffle their existing pledge to any combination of rewards or direct pledge support—so long as the total meets or exceeds the original pledge amount.

Once reshuffled, pledges that were ‘split’ will appear as new seperate pledges under their profile. 

Recombining Previously Reshuffled Pledges

Pledges may always be split further if a Fan wishes, but they can’t be recombined through the widget we currently offer.

If a Fan wishes to recombine their existing pledges to a campaign—perhaps to claim a newly offered reward, or simply because they changed their mind—they must contact us here.

‘Reshuffle’ to INCREASE Your Pledge

Fans can use the ‘reshuffle’ feature to increase a previous direct support pledge as well.

For Example: 

A Fan may wish to increase a previous direct pledge of support from $10 to $50 to build momentum now that the Creator is aware and negotiating with the Founder. All the Fan needs to do is reshuffle by amount to a direct pledge of $50.

Tipping via Reshuffle

Fans can also tip during the reshuffle process, however remember that these tips are processed immediately and are not part of the reshuffled pledge. 

Tips are always in addition to, and separate from, the pledge itself. 

There is no way to apply any part of an existing pledge toward a tip.

Changing Credit Card for Pledge via Reshuffle

Credit Cards used for pledges can be changed at any time, by ‘replacing’ a pledge with an equal or greater amount and simply entering or selecting a new card.
